Besides Pedro Almodóvar’s Broken Embraces, Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired is probably the only film worth watching in cinemas this week. Zenovich’s captivating documentary about the trials and trial of Polanski is not only an intelligent and tense movie but also a fabulous work of investigative journalism. It’s certainly a lot more worthwhile than Sex and the City 2, but hey, whatever floats your boat.
